Who does the checking

The Ask More editorial department verifies, updates and writes about every AI tool price, free-tier quota, deal and cancellation rule on this site. Verification has two layers: an automated crawler watches official pricing pages daily for change signals, and a human reads the official wording and reconciles it before anything is written into the data. Every change is reviewed before it goes live. We do not sell rankings or edit numbers for payment; commercial partnerships are kept separate from the data (see the methodology and commercial-separation policy).

How we check

We follow the three review rules published on this site:

1. Three-way cross-check: official main page ➔ FAQ / terms page ➔ independent third-party test. A fact is only fixed when all three agree. When a page blocks automated fetching we read it in a browser or from the raw HTML instead of writing “unknown”.
2. No fabrication: if the vendor has not published a figure, we write “not published” rather than inventing one; second-hand figures are labelled as such on the record.
3. Dated line by line: every record carries its last-verified timestamp.

Annual-average monthly prices are recorded separately from monthly list prices, and we only show a local currency price when the vendor publishes one.

How often

Every tool has a verification log. Across the 2026 logs on this site, the median gap between two checks of the same tool is about 2 days (mean about 3.5 days); tools with price-rise, quota-change or shutdown signals are re-checked first. Recent changes are collected on the price changes page.

How errors are fixed

When an error is found we first record, in that tool’s verification log, what was written, what the official page actually says and the source URL, then update the current statement. The original evidence snapshot is kept unmodified so readers can trace the history. When the same fact appears on several pages (tool page, free-tier page, guides) they are corrected together. If you spot an error, send the official link via the contact page; we verify, correct and update the verification date.
